The Blue Devil

After Chino, Sharp and Emma finished working on the place, the old room looked even older. They had given it a personality!  The blood red walls surrounding the ancient corner fireplace where decorated by  the moving silouete of a piccaso like Don Quixote riding away from radiant black and white wind mills*.

Antique paintings of colonial lords and a well balanced collection of Don Quixote Statues on miniature metal bikes gave the whole environment a museum like dignity.  The equally red Antigua  floor tiles and an old “play for a quarter” pool table with some vintage German army jackets at the other side of the room, gave the place some perspective, and 10 new shiny bicycle cruisers,  all parked in front of a table that looks 200 years old, made pedestrians stop and stare at the shop like kids in front of a candy store. All to the sound of Bob Marley, coming from behind hidden ipod speakers. DQC is finally open for Business.
